Whether you're just starting out and looking for direction or you've built a career you're ready to share with others, Mentor Connect helps bring professionals together to learn, grow and inspire one another.

Through Mentor Connect, students, residents, early career professionals, and experienced mentors can connect to share insights, ask questions and build relationships that last well beyond a single conversation.

Who is Mentor Connect for?
Students Residents Early Career Mentors

Whether you’re seeking guidance or ready to give back, Mentor Connect helps you find the right match and meaningful conversations that support your professional journey.

If you're looking for guidance, you can explore topics like:
  • Choosing your career path in radiation oncology
  • What to expect during residency
  • Developing leadership and communication skills
  • Finding work-life balance
  • Navigating the match process
  • Applying for grants and opportunities
If you're offering mentorship, you'll have the chance to:
  • Share your journey and lessons learned
  • Support and encourage the next generation
  • Build meaningful professional connections
  • Gain fresh perspectives and new energy from emerging professionals

Every mentoring relationship is different — and that's what makes it meaningful.

Together, mentors and mentees can set goals, exchange ideas and find direction that fits where they are and where they hope to go.

Each year at the ASTRO Annual Meeting, attendees can participate in an exciting Speed Mentoring event.

Mentees rotate from table to table, connecting with a diverse panel of mentors in a fast-paced, engaging setting. It’s the perfect way to meet multiple mentors, ask focused questions and gain fresh insights.

All in-person attendees are invited to participate.
